1、叶轮与叶轮之间的间隙0.4-~0.5mm;
2、叶轮与叶壳之间的径向间隙0.2~0.3mm;
3、叶轮与左、右墙板之间的轴向间隙0.3~0.4mm(左墙板间隙必须大于右墙板间隙0.05mm以上),同步齿轮的啮合间隙0.08~0.16mm。

Maintenance of three-blade Roots blower: We believe that adjusting the working clearance of a three-blade Roots blower is crucial in the entire maintenance process of Roots blowers, and it is also relatively difficult to master. By analyzing the structural principle of the Roots blower, we find that during one rotation of the impeller, at the ±45° position (referring to when the pressure angle of the impeller forms an angle of ±45° with the horizontal line), the clearance between the two impellers is the most critical one. There are two +45° and two -45° positions, at which the maximum axial cross-section of the two impellers is just in a relatively parallel state. Therefore, this angle is the optimal position for adjusting the working clearance of a three-blade Roots blower.

The Roots blower requires adjustments to the clearances in the following three aspects during installation: 1. The clearance between the driving rotor and the driven rotor; 2. The radial clearance between the driving rotor and the driven rotor, as well as the inner surface of the casing; 3. The clearance between the flat surfaces at both ends of the driving rotor and the driven rotor, and the axial flat surface of the wallboard. These clearances are generally specified in the blower's instruction manual. If the clearance is too small, it is prone to generate heat, causing friction between the two rotors. Conversely, if the clearance is too large, it will degrade the performance of the blower.
